Camellia
Woke up to a chilly morning but the temps did not get below freezing. Hubby worked on financial “paperwork” and medical issues and then went shopping. I will have dental insurance beginning 1January. It isn’t cost effective if you’re only having semi-annual cleanings but at my age, the tech said I could need crowns at some point. Better to be safe…. I put together our November WV menu and required grocery shopping spreadsheet and updated the Christmas spreadsheet. Both projects are coming along nicely. Had hoped to iron and wrap more gifts but the day got away from me. It was almost 3:00 before I even thought about a blip. This camellia is just outside our kitchen window. It is covered with hundreds of buds and blossoms although several petals dropped during yesterday’s wind. We are having spicy chicken tortilla soup for dinner. It is definitely a soup kind of evening. Then it’s Kindle time with hubby and the kitties. Wishing you a pleasant evening. Thanks for the visit. Stay safe and healthy. “As the days grow short, some faces grow long. But not mine. Every autumn, when the wind turns cold and darkness comes early, I am suddenly happy. It's time to start making soup again.” - Leslie Newman
