Second Home

Back to the rugby club, bacon sandwiches and a hot drink for the contractors, Dave and I, then a resumption of the rewiring/upgrade programme.
They tell us that they should be finished today but with the amount left to do I find that unlikely, we will have to see.
I left mid afternoon to head home and walk Paddy knowing I would be back for a meeting in the early evening. Expecting around a sixty minute meeting I stood at the three hour mark and made my apologies. Looking back I found the meeting productive, those attending were encouraged to speak up about the things that worried them and although the results might not be going our way I, like most club members, have high hopes that the club will weather the storm and come up smiling.

Todays photo is from my daughter, when I retired I ‘ticked off’ my longest standing Bucket List item, visiting Catherine of Aragon’s tomb in Peterborough Cathedral. I’d spoken of it so often and enthusiastically that Sam felt she had to go as well during her travels last week. It is a better photo of the tomb than any I took.
