The wind had calmed down significantly today after yesterday’s gusts. It was a lovely mild autumn day again so spent 4 or 5 hours in the garden, mainly planting shrubs etc. Not too much more to do now. Was interrupted twice by appointments to have stairs and landing measured for carpet.
Stayed outside until about 4.30 when it got too dark. Really don’t like the long dark evenings when I’m just sitting around in the house so trying to get the most out of the daylight. The planting wasn’t photogenic ( but hopefully will be next spring/summer!) so here you have these lovely flowers which are cheering up my sitting room
