Reward
The day was one of watering, weeding and masses of line-trimming. This is my delicious dinner as a reward for hard labour.
Sourdough bread, mixed green leaf salad with olives, ricotta, poached eggs and mayonnaise. All homegrown and / or homemade except the olives. Delicious.
It was hot again, reaching 26C mid-afternoon when Bean and I had a walk, and the forecast looks like it’s going to carry on like this another few days.
Beanbag snoozed in the shade much of the day…as sensible as ever.
