Porcelain fungi

We got out for a walk at Stavely this afternoon, setting off in a bit of sunshine. The woods are looking good and we spotted a few fungi including this interesting porcelain fungi growing in a standing dead tree trunk. I like the way it’s peeking out from a flap!
As we got to the wax cap pasture the rain started blowing in from the south. We had a hasty look and found six species but Pepper was all for heading back to the car.
The river is in full spate but no obvious salmon today.
Home for honey and crumpets.
