Princess Pose?

Apparently, or so number 1 daughter told me, this is how princesses pose when they are getting a picture taken.

We decided to bite the bullet and head off to Kendal to do a big shop in the Asda. We should really have done it yesterday but we just made do with the shops that we had at hand. We came home and had a bit of lunch then headed out for a wander in glorious sunshine. It was a real scorcher of an afternoon. I even had to take off my wooly hat!!!! We headed down the hill to Bowness with the sole purpose of having an ice cream and picking up a leaflet from the lake cruises office. It was absolutely heaving with folk, forgot it was a bank holiday. The lakes really are geared up to cater for tourists. Scotland sure could take a leaf out of its book.

Here's hoping that the beautiful sunshine continues. We've had a fair share of rainy holidays of late so think we're due a wee turn in the sun.
