Terrific Thursday

The forecast was for heavy rain most of the day.  We had rain first thing which amounted to drizzle by the time we went to visit the market at the end of our road and turned to brilliant sunshine by the afternoon.

I purchased a skirt and jumper from one of the market stalls, although not particularly cheap for a market.

In the afternoon we all walked along the beach and sat down to watch the land windsurfers.  We found another beach front bar and had a drink outside in the sunshine.

In the evening we enjoyed a meal at a fish restaurant in Etaples, a fishing village next to Le Touquet.
