Petersham Nurseries

B, the lovely teacher I worked with before she took early retirement in the summer, picked me up and drove us to the nurseries for lunch. Although it’s just the other side of Richmond Park to me, it was my first visit.  A quirky nursery full of plants, expensive, rustic furniture and a shop full of glass, pottery and other unusual homeware. It has two long glass/greenhouses. One is a rustic cafe and the other one has half for the shop and the other half is a restaurant.  The restaurant was closed due to an event ……. A wedding! What a wonderful, unusual place to hold your wedding reception.

I bought some bulbs, plants and a couple of small (cheapish) vases.
