Taken as I left home this morning.

Mr C messaged late morning to say we had a power cut at home and as I type this at 8:15pm we are still without power.  A fault on an underground cable.  It’s been years since we’ve had a power cut for this long.  Lots of candles are on.  I will probably venture off to bed soon and read my kindle.  Thankful that Mr C recently bought me a new one with a backlight.

We are now officially on half term for 2 weeks. Woohoo.
