Wet: War

Jamison Square Park, and the fountains are trickling, flowing, gushing.

Today's challenge theme is Wet.
I've been taking scores of photos of these fountains, but when it comes time to blip I always choose another idea. Today I knew it would be quite hot (85º/29.4ºC), the park would be mobbed, and there would be lots of wetness to shoot.

"Shoot" being the operative word. That little girl in the outrageous pink sunglasses holds in her hands a lethal weapon filled with wet ammunition. Doesn't she look determined? She and her sister, also armed to the gills, chased each other through the shallow pool spraying fusillades of H2O. (Flying droplets visible in larger view.) And yes, in honor of the challenge, I got wet.

War is wet! If only all the weapons were like these.
