Vineyard Patchwork

A beautiful, warm day with up to 22 degrees C. So lovely that I refused to work all day, and took the afternoon off. I went for a walk in the vineyards to the next village of Frauenstein, and back through orchards, via the farm shop. On the way home, my backpack was quite heavy with rescued apples (from some of the many trees that don’t get harvested) and bought vegetables.

I liked the pattern of different varieties and colours in the vineyards. Some more impressions from my walk are in the extra: Giant funnel mushrooms, as big as dinner plates (see my shoe for scale), a buzzard, and a kestrel. No cranes, though.
