Black Mood

Yesterday evening's good mood got ruined by an email from my mother's gas provider. Her payments are going to almost quadruple, to a staggering 900 Euros a month - just for heating her house.
Today's mail brought more bills and an announcement of raising prices from the carer's agency.
I'm doing my best to respect my mother's wishes, making sure she can stay in her beloved home and have all the care she needs - but it's getting a lot tougher, and I'm not sure how long her savings will stretch, when all the prices are exploding while her pension stays the same.  

Sorry, but I'm in a dark place at the moment. Chaiyya was actually doing her best to cheer me up, by being extra cute and cuddly today.
