A very simple blip today. This is a rain drop hanging off a brush that was sitting on a post by our swimming pool. Just so plain and simple.

We had an early start this morning, with a stock truck arriving at 7.30am to pick up our rising one year old heifers. They are heading down to Canterbury for grazing for the next year, and will be returning this time next year, hopefully all pregnant and ready for the milking season ahead.

Likewise, our rising two year old heifers (rising one year olds last year) are returning on the same truck, and are due to arrive home later this evening. It will be good to see them again, after them being away for the past year. These animals are pregnant, and are due to start calving from August onwards.
