Meet my neice....

This is A. She's 8 and she and her family are visiting this weekend. A was born with a syndrome called CHARGE, and had a very hard start to life. Amongst her disabilities, she is blind in one eye, and has limited hearing. She has learnt to use sign language as a way to communicate. She had a tracheotomy when she was about 5 months old, and had the trachy in until she turned five. Because of this she was feed through a tube in her stomach.

Dispite all her health problems, A is a delightful wee girl and brings lots of joy into the life of her family. We wouldn't be without her now!
