Lacrymaria lacrymabunda (Weeping Widow)

Very little sleep last night so I slept this morning until 8:00. Had the strangest thing happen around midnight and twice around 3:00 am. My “phone” rang only on my laptop, frightening me awake each time. The ringing stopped before I got out of bed at midnight. At 3:00, I got to the laptop and saw the call was coming from my daughter but I could not answer before it stopped ringing. Tried calling her back (no answer). Wrote and inquired about what she needed. This morning, she said she had not called me and there was no phone call to me at those times recorded on her phone. She was actually sleeping when this happened. I am sure there is a logical explanation…. Hubby found this patch of mushrooms. There must have been 25. Seek identified them as weeping widows. Wikipedia says they are edible but will be a dark mess when cooked. Some folks have reported tummy aches after eating them. I will pass. I had an annual doctor’s appointment at 9:00. Got a clean bill of health. Decided to look for stocking stuffers since I was out. Had a successful day at all four stores I visited. I did laundry and made lunch when I got home. It is a perfect fall day weather-wise. Hubby aerated our lawn, worked on his bike and numerous other outside jobs. Now it is nap time; both kitties are already asleep on my lap. Thanks for visiting.
