Fun Times
Kitties got us up early again. If they are ready for breakfast, they will not let up until they are fed. I filled the bird feeders, took care of some housecleaning and got ready for River’s arrival. He is still terrified of the kitties so I sat with him on the floor for an hour until my legs begged for relief. We had visitors on and off all day, all but our BIL were here to see the boy. My son and Parker came first. River was so excited to see them. Parker’s four wheeler seemed fine; I think he simply flooded it last night. Skylar and Mack were next. They took River to the play yard until time for Mack’s doctor appt. Sky and Trevor returned and she and River played with the train sets. You can see how much fun they had. It was great seeing the grands. They are so busy with their lives that visits to Gram’s are scarce. I finally got River to lay down around 4:30. And he was still asleep when Lauren picked him up after 6:00 pm. We had a great day watching genuine innocence in action. I hope your day was just as special. Thanks for visiting. War news is pretty bleak with the increased missile strikes. Stay safe. “Young people need something stable to hang on to — a culture connection, a sense of their own past, a hope for their own future. Most of all, they need what grandparents can give them.” — Jay Kesler
