Wrong

I’m sure there is a perfectly valid reason for Kendal’s Xmas decorations being up this weekend, but I’m struggling to think of one. Christmas Day is still eleven weeks away, leaves are (just) still on the trees and the weather remains comparatively mild. I haven’t even had my “summer” holiday yet. Though that is partly down to having to fit it in around the play.
Having a lazy day today before tonight’s play performance. Coffee at Cafe Nero before watching the GP highlights. I could have gone to Panto rehearsal this afternoon but the timings would have been a bit tight so I’ll opt for listening to Sounds of the 70s and doing the ironing instead.
Still, at least we know we are getting the lights this year. Whether or not the council can afford to switch them on is a completely different matter!
