Designer Sunset

It was when we were moseying around a garden centre this afternoon, as we often do, with our friends Al and Liz this afternoon that I spotted this lovely rosebud on this patio rose. It was a distraction from all the Christmas paraphernalia which was overtaking the store.

Earlier we’d called in at a farm shop for a bit of shopping and to collect pickling onions for my first batch of this year’s pickled onions. Some tears to come when they’re peeled
