Who Wants To Be A Millionaire

I do like a bit of Millionaire’s Shortbread. And this version with salted caramel and hazelnuts is especially nice. And made even nicer by the fact that it was “yellow-stickered” and only cost 43p!
Despite fears of a late night at rehearsals last night, we were out by 10pm. This was not a good thing though. The plan had been to quickly run through lights and sound for Act 2 - which is only just over half an hour long - and then do a full run in costume.
But, after three hours we’d only just finished staggering through Act 2, and there was a distinct air of mutiny at the thought of starting all over again.
So a deal was done. We could go home early but we had to agree to an extra night of rehearsal on Friday. Secretly, most of us had anticipated having to do that anyway, so it wasn’t that big an issue.
Hopefully things will go a lot more smoothly tonight. It would be good to have at least one complete run through before dress rehearsal!
