Windswept

Three humans, two cars and a dog set off North. We stopped at Richmond for a coffee and then went on to Hetton Lyons Country Park for a walk around the lake, which wasn't as big as we thought. We decided to move on to Roker Beach just north of Sunderland, where we had a walk along the pier and on the beach, as well as a picnic. Next stop was our cottage at Cox Green. It was described as quirky, perhaps due to the floors that are sloping, it makes you feel a little drunk ... and that's before the GnT's! We tried a walk to the local pub but found that it is closed!
