Coming in to land

Mum and I went to the York Bird of Prey Centre today. We enjoyed the flying display of the barn owl, eagle owl and peregrine falcon. They also brought the golden eagle out, which I had a chance to hold. 

After the display we went for a country drive and ended up in Helmsley for lunch, before returning home and meeting up with my sister.

No doubt there will be the statutory game of cards this evening.
