Blackness Castle

I love ruined castles and especially love the location of this one on the shore of the Firth of Forth. It’s been a while since I’ve been here, but it was good to visit today with family visiting from Australia and England.

There were great views over towards the bridges today, and we were also lucky to see some seals chilling on a buoy in the Forth Estuary.

We then headed onto Falkirk to get a bite to eat at Behind The Wall before heading along to The Falkirk Wheel and The Kelpies.

A busy day out, and I think we will all sleep well tonight.
