Autumn Equinox

Happy AE everyone! And to celebrate, nature gave us a morning of persistent precipitation!!  joy!  So that put paid to my plan for a little local wander, so I put the time to good use and started sorting through old flower bulbs that had been stored under the balcony so that was very therapeutic! And messy!  

Mum and Dad had their flu jabs today, and they were in and out of the Dr's office within minutes! Can't fault the service there!

Flower Friday gets me sharing this Dahlia  - they've done so badly in the garden this year,and I was happy to see Monty Don say his had performed poorly this year too! Nice to not feel a failure alone! Hopefully next year will see bigger and better blooms!
