Thurs-dahlia

Mix of sunshine and cloud today, and still lacking on the energy front so stayed close to home again.  Just a walk to the local shops for some food supplies and then to the local horticultural hut for some recycling bags... and maybe a plant was purchased too!

Still a few dahlias flowering in the garden although they're so hit and miss this year! The orange ones have never flowered better, but many of  the other colours have just been consumed by the slugs and snails so it's rare to see them flower!  Not sure how long this flower will last before it becomes dinner for a slimy invader!!
