Wednesday: Future Crops

Had a lie in this morning, until 7:30 …

A couple of hours of family history - I’ve managed to connect with another DNA cousin :-)

An hour or so in the garden - peas “Hurst Greenshaft” soaked overnight and planted this morning to have peashoots for salad. 

Other salad leaves, lettuce: salad bowl, Lobjoits, mixed baby leaves & lambs lettuce. Rocket, American land cress, chard “Rainbow”, perilla, bunching onions “Ishikura”, nasturtium “Alaska mixed”.

On the blue tray, Wallflowers which I saved seed of from the garden - hopefully these little plants can replace the old stock!

The other plants are spare kales and broccoli for planting in any gaps.

There were spots of rain whilst I was outdoors but came to nothing, garden very dry :-(

MrD had a long day of deliveries and spoke with an old friend …
