After the Storm...

Last night saw an incredible thunder storm, unfortunately it was hard to see from my window but I enjoyed laying listening to the rain and the thunder. This morning the weather was not much better and I prepared myself for another day of staying in. In the afternoon, the sun came out and I sat out on the balcony to watch the Le Puy 15 km race that was going on throughout the town. Perched with my laptop, a good book and cake, I had the perfect viewing point.

The afternoon was spent replaying La Bonne Paye with Myriam and Lyse, cooking myself a French take on a macaroni cheese and having to turn down a trip to Belgium with Laura and Katie, I'd have loved to have gone (and in my heart of hearts I'm still hoping I can) but responsability calls. There was also a beautiful sunset lighting the clouds, which I failed to fully capture. Fell asleep in the bath for two hours (yes, I know it's dangerous and I have to stop doing it) and woke up in time to go to bed.

I have a job interview tomorrow and I really hope I get it because frankly this lazyness cannot continue!
