The Monopoly Incident...

I swear it has been raining for 4 days non-stop now. I need to leave the house, I'm going a bit crazy, but I'm not braving that rain. Spent the day finishing the novel I started - really enjoyed this one too... the message of this one was less clear but got me thinking all the same. Started watching Etre et Avoir, a film documentary set in Haute-Loire but didn't get the chance to finish it because Lyse came to see if I wanted to play monopoly with her. After a little pause for tea, Lyse managed to knock coke all over the board so finishing the game was not an option. We payed La Bonne Paye instead which is a really great game. I was invited to stay for a dinner of crepes so we went to the supermarket to buy all that we needed. This finally gave me the chance to fill my fridge! Long skype, it surprising after everything how there will always remain an ease of conversation with certain people.
