Picnic on Sanda Stoor

A beautiful sunny morning, then clouded over for a while, with broken sunshine the rest of the day.  Lovely flat calm day.

Weekend off, and up early.  I managed to get two loads of washing out this morning. Met friend Julie for walkies early this morning.  We headed out for a run on the boat at noon.  After returning, I took Julie to Lerwick for some shopping.  Working in the shop this evening, and then a quiet night.

A lovely day to explore, even though it clouded over.  Today was a first, first steps on a small island I haven't been on before.  A lovely beach, where I found some grottie buckies, a lovely walk around the coast, with some fantastic cliffs and geos (sea inlets), and even and old dwelling.  After exploring, we returned to the beach for a cuppa and picnic.  L-R - me, peerie Brian, Sammy and Julie.  Taken at Sanda Stour, Sandsting parish.
