The Brave Little Soldier

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

I took today off. Well, mostly. I sort of did some work because I had a deadline to hit but I stepped out of all meetings. 

That was nice. Meetings break up my day and derail my thoughts. 

But for the most part I just snuffled and was a bit miserable.
