Four And Twenty Blackbirds

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

I stayed away from the office again today, but did a full day's work. 

Or. That is. I mean. I tried.

Here you see Punky staring at me because he is upset. He is upset because blackbirds keep coming in the back door and stealing his biscuits.

And in fact, even while this picture was being taken, I could hear a blackbird scruffling about in his biscuit-bowl.

Why - you may ask - does Punky - an actual CAT - expect ME - NOT a cat - to chase away birds for him?

Yes. Hm. I might have to take that up with Punky.

In the meantime, not much work done today. Due to a surfeit of blackbirds.
