Close To You

Every day we have a meet'n'greet with Arlo and the kittens to both give Arlo a chance to get used to them, and let them to build up their confidence. 

Pippin and Merry are very different, this is Merry, he's always been the more confident outgoing one, first to do anything. He is happy to sit still when Arlo appears and they have sniffed noses a few times, and will hiss if uncomfortable. Pippin is less so, and if Arlo is too close will run off. So far I've not seen them swipe at Arlo, which works for Jesscat and tells Arlo to stop, but how do get a cat to do that when they are not that bothered?
