The Fest Of Dogs

Ms H and I, well I, bit the bullet and took Arlo to DogFest. It is always disappointing buying tickets to then arrive and get into the event without having your ticket checked, a bit like buying a train ticket and noone checking it. There were tons of dogs, surprising? There were various try outs and demos... sensorary sections, flyball, halebale jumping, dog dancing, splash pools, ball pools, agility courses. Arlo tried some of them and despite them not being up to his usual casual parkour (PARKOUR!) standard, it was good to see him doing them in a public busy space.

At the end we watched a Flyball demo, something we'd seen at the last Crufts and while not quite as frenetic, it was good to see close up. As much fun as it looks, I am not sure I'd like to risk the impact to their joints and legs, seems to be a long running debate.
