long-tailed blue

spent most of today lounging on the balcony . I like that my few potted plants survive with virtually no input on a rather hot, windy and dry covered balcony . It took only about 1/2 hour to prune off some dead bits , tidy them up and sweep the floor . Some, like this moss rose, are even continuing to flower. Having looked up the butterfly I think its a long-tailed blue but do correct me if you've more knowledge of butterflies!  I was drawn to its false eye and antennae.  I had just a short walk during which there was a much needed deluge. I got soaked but like the few people out and about enjoyed the change of weather. Off course it was lovely and sunny again soon after I got back .
