threes a crowd?

we visited Peyriac-de-Mer today . We normally go further south along the coast but have decided to explore the region to the north of us.  Arrived in time for a 'menu du jour' at a lovely restaurant  just out of the village and got the last table at 12.30. The food was delicious and only 18 euros for 3 courses with wine and coffee. Afterwards walked around the nearby Etang and saw lots of flamingos as well as some white egrets and cranes. A number of flamingos were twisting their necks together and we weren't sure if they were fighting or courting.
Tried to catch some of them flying at dusk (see extra of a couple taking off) but many were too far away for decent photos. Finished the day with a picnic by the water and a wander around the village . A lovely place that's on the list to go back to.
