Cygnet preening.
The Feast Day of Saint Fiacre, an Irish saint.
It is 18c, mild with a breeze.
I have been for a short canal walk and had a nice chat with two women walking along the tow path. The conversation was mostly centred on the swans. They explained how to identify the gender of a swan. The male has a bigger black bump above the beak.
I was glad to get this shot of one of the cygnets preening, as were all the others. This photo is SOOC. I generally edit my shots a little. The grassy canal bank was full of soft downy swan feathers.
I have walked 7734 steps so far. The aim is 10,000 so I have some more to do this afternoon. I have done some washing and ironing and sat down for online Mass from Ireland. Then I caught up on what Ascension teacher Tim Whild was teaching on Facebook. In a nutshell, Uranus is retrograde until 23rd January 2023, we could feel the impact of planetary energies if we are sensitive, and try to be aware of the Oneness of God, Nature, animal and human life, because we are all interdependent.
Have a lovely Tuesday blip friends and thanks for dropping by.
