Beauty is all around us.

A cottage in Tottleworth.

The Feast Day of the Passion of Saint John the Baptist.
 August Bank Holiday Monday.
Paul and me had our breakfast, read the newspaper, prayed and then went for a walk to Tottleworth. Paul has been bitten by an insect on his leg. It is itchy, but no worse thankfully.
It is a long time since we visited Tottleworth.. One year we visited it in the snow and it was so magically transformed. Today it was pleasantly mild, 18c and peaceful, with the occasional dog walker.
This cottage has been modernised but the datestone showed 1758. The few houses there are detached cottages and Victorian terraced houses.
There are sheep in a field and near that Threlfall's dairy.
The garden at the front of the house in the blip looked very beautiful indeed.
When we got home I made Earl Grey tea for Paul and then watched online Mass from Ireland.
I am getting on with housework now, washing, drying and ironing. Paul is going to get some fuel for the car and then do some shopping.
I am looking forward to watching Monarch of the Glen at 2 : 20 pm on Drama.
Have a wonderful day and thanks for visiting my site.
