A Small Tortoiseshell butterfly on a house wall.
The 22nd Week of the Church Year.
The Feast Day of Saint Augustine of Hippo.
It is a lovely sunny start to the morning and I have been out and about with my watering can because the plants in flowerpots are getting thirsty.
It is 20c and just perfect for a walk.
I was glad to capture this small tortoiseshell butterfly in focus, after following it for a while. It is amazing how after a Summer without hardly any butterflies, many are now appearing in gardens and especially on sedum and buddleias.
I clocked up 13000 plus steps yesterday, so I need to rest a bit today as my heel aches. 4916 steps so far.
Have a great time blip friends and take care. Thanks for all your recent comments.
