Dave's Brother

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

We knew about Dave's brother even before Dave died. We used to call him "Steve". But he was always too scared to approach.

It turns out his actual name is "Crash" and he came inside to visit last night. 

I am very conflicted about this because I am still so very sad about Dave. But Crash (as you can see) is an adorable little chap. Not nearly as confident as his brother (he stares at me anxiously the whole time) but with a love of play. 

It's hard to let grief harden your heart, when Crash comes to visit.
