Hospital day 7: Outside

A new chest x-ray showed a huge improvement in J's left lung, and in the course of the day she was gradually weaned off the additional oxygen.

The hospital was quieter at the weekend. I went for a short walk outside and found empty parking places, fewer people, and, around the corner from the main buildings, a deserted area of office buildings where I found both visual interest and a quiet bench from which to phone P.
