Project 365 day 211: Agapanthus

It was exceptionally windy, and wet for part of the day, so not ideal for flower photography, but by around six the wind had dropped a bit and I crossed the road to my neighbour's front garden, which was catching transient patches of evening sun. C is in his nineties and has a large and wonderful garden which he has been developing and tending for over fifty years. I'm privileged to be able to visit it, eat some his produce and photograph it. I love his agapanthus, which has just come into bloom, and he has some wonderfully coloured roses.

I've been struggling to keep up with posting my photos this week, and have barely looked at any other journals. I'm grateful to the kind people who have been looking at giving stars and hearts, and hope to catch up with you soon.
