Too trusting

A mostly quiet day dealing with  emails and other admin. 
This  wide-eyed, young wood pigeon has been lurking in our garden for a few days now. It doesn't appear injured or unwell, just  rather too trusting, as it let me walk right up to it, before it hopped  away. A neighbour's cat has been stalking  it, too, but some how the pigeon has escaped the cat's claws.... so far. If only the pigeon would  realise it has a pair of wings on its back  which are there for a purpose!
