Amongst the Heather

A day of mixed weather and I was out with a small group on a day of photographing the Heather on the Moors.  We all had a good time spending a very long time walking around the area not far from Surprise View carpark and learning a lot about camera technique.  We had a very late lunch and then went into a nearby gorge doing some woodland photography to avoid the anticipated rain.  By the time we had finished here the weather started to deteriorate again and any chance of further shots around the various nearby tors and cliff edges were scuppered.  We did start earlier than planned though as the late afternoon was forecast for rain.

A great day of photography while my husband was out on a local walk.
