Damselfly

I was out this morning with a friend visiting Bystock Pools and the surrounding area.  We found a few of these damselflies which I thought may be Small Red Damselflies flitting around the waters edge.  But I see they are rare so it's probably a Common Darter.  We also saw several Gatekeeper butterflies amongst the heather as we headed to the Meadow area.  There were a large number of tiny moths amongst the vegetation in the meadow.  The ferns are now beginning to change colour and the heathers are looking good to.  A great morning outing.
