Road closed

Edinburgh has a lot of good things going for it. For example, the Lothian Region Bus service must be one of the best in the UK. Unfortunately Edinburgh roads must be in the worst condition of any in the UK. They are full of potholes and are constantly closed or are getting repaired.

This morning Ann went to her fitness club. Three ‘route diversions’, one closed road and one set of traffic lights out! All in a journey that should take about 15 mins?! Not good!! It’s like Edinburgh Council is trying to eradicate all cars and make everyone ride bikes.

Even on one of my walks today, the pavement was closed so I had to do a really big detour. Obviously I didn’t mind that cos I got to do extra walking.

Our Wi-Fi still isn’t working but ‘Open Reach’ are coming to see us tomorrow morning between 8-1. That means I’m going to have to get up early to go for my morning walk. And Ann has had to cancel her ‘Nifty 50s’ class and swim.

But……….. hopefully by this time tomorrow, we will have Wi-Fi again.
