Lantana
Kitty woke me early so I read until dawn. The heat of the sun had not arrived yet so I grabbed the pruners and got busy deadheading my four butterfly bushes. It will probably take four mornings to get rid of all the spent blooms, but I’d made a dent in the job after two hours. I was drenched. We are expecting storms to start this afternoon and continue until tomorrow afternoon, so I picked tomatoes and decided to share this delicate lantana in my veggie garden with you. After my shower, I made orange rolls and hubby finally descended from his second story temp bedroom. The Md Dept of Health called to say he is still positive and could remain so for 90 days. But he should be past the point of being contagious so he can leave isolation. They recommend a mask if he is around others. I was hoping my reinfection would be asymptotic if it happens at all but she said, no, I would have all the same symptoms and be contagious again. Not the news I wanted to hear. After a few inside jobs, I stopped to edit the blips for 21 and 22 July. That leaves only 27 July and I will be completely caught up. We had a thunderstorm with rain so I was not comfortable ironing. Hubby and I napped. Sure hope the new headache means nothing. We’ll have a quiet evening. Thanks for the visit and leaving so many stars lately. Stay well folks. “There is so much hope in a little flower an so many flowers in a little hope!” - Mehmet Murat Ildon
