Dunstaffnage Castle

Dunstaffnage Castle and Chapel was built for the MacDougalls but captured by Robert the Bruce and he.d in royal hands for many years. Since the end of the 15th century it has been controlled by Clan Campbell.

What a difference in the weather today ….. warm and sunny so it was good to see many families enjoying a picnic in the grounds of the castle.

The young gymnast was very keen to show me some of her floor routine on the grass. Sadly, I never asked her name so won’t know if she makes it into a Scottish Gymnastic team.
Mum was fine with the photos being taken.
