Loving the Labyrinth.

One Grandpa trying to keep up with one small boy as he dashes around the labyrinth laid out in the grounds of Clitheroe castle .
We took a train ride to Clitheroe and then entertained ourselves in the castle grounds. It has a great play area , lots of space and a museum which we had a look around . Chips were eaten on the grass and then we boarded the train home . The train was late setting off because Arthur and the guard had a long chat about all sorts , the guard and his partner are fostering 2 small boys long term and he was interested in what Arthur had to say . They were so engrossed that the time for the train to depart came and went . What a lovely man and how wonderful that the conversation with a child took precedence.
The sun shone too , practically perfect !
