Toppers on the river

A lovely summer day and this shows young people out in their ‘topper’ sailing boats at the local sailing club Tamesis. This was taken on my morning dog walk. Toppers are often used to teach people to sail as they are light and easy to handle. If you look at the sail you can see a top hat..hence toppers!

A day at home sorting out some paperwork , washing and a bit of trimming in the garden as well as more watering. It seems likely we will have a hospipe ban next week. I must fill up my water butt on our balcony as it will not fill from rainwater off the roof anytime soon!
