Jubilee clock tower in Weymouth

We made an early visit to Weymouth to look around as have not been there for several years.. …before 9am…..which was good as easy to park, very few people on the beach and some sun. By 10.30 it was starting to rain!
This is a famous landmark in Weymouth which was built and erected in 1888 to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of Queen Victoria. It was paid for by public subscription.

We are impressed that Weymouth looked smarter than some seaside towns and it looked as if all the B and Bs and small hotels were full…no Vacancies  signs. Also saw several coaches loading up with people from the hotels, the first time I have seen this since the beginning of the pandemic!
