River of Flowers

Monday: Home Grown Potatoes and Blackcurrants ...

... collected this morning whilst it was sunny and with some very special visitors, at least half a dozen fledgling long-tailed tits who were bouncing around the branches of the damson tree.
Have planted the last of my seed potatoes, 5 x Pentland Javelin - should be ready beginning of November when it's usually still mild here! Worth a try, weather has been very erratic so far this year!
This afternoon I picked a handful of purple dwarf French beans growing in a pot in the greenhouse  - so delicious with salmon and the new potatoes for dinner this evening.
Lots more bees and butterflies around the garden today, cooler weather must be more to their liking.
Quick chat with The Sailor & Jo who have started their move ...
Stay safe & healthy & happy everyone :-)
Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
